Benchrest Metallic Silhouette

Bring your .22 rifle, scoped or iron sights, benchrest or bipod, and a separate rear bag. You will shoot off the bench to knock down steel animals - Chickens at 40 meters, Pigs at 60, Turkeys at 77, and Rams at 100 meters. 

Awards - 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place pins awarded to each class: Men, Ladies, and Juniors;  5 animals in a row, 10 in a row, or all 15.

We also alternate the metallic silhouette contests with a Creedmoor-style plate match with steel targets at 100, 200, and 300 yards. Yes, .22LR rifles at 300 yards, with a 9" bullseye. Creedmoor matches were begun by the NRA in 1873, to foster marksmanship by American Riflemen. Come out and test YOUR marksmanship with us! Also shot off the bench with benchrest or bipod. Bring a spotting scope!

Shooters meet the 4th Saturday of every month on the High Power Range. See the club calendar online for times. Open to all - members and non-members alike.
