Calling all marksmen - Test your rifle shooting skill with the latest nationwide rimfire craze: LONG GONG!
Long Gong is a simple but challenging game: 8", 6", and 4" steel gongs are hung at 300 yards. The goal is to score the most points possible - earning 1 point for each 8" hit, 2 points for the 6", and 3 points for each hit on the 4" plate.
A game so simple a child can play it, but difficult for even the best shooters to master.
We shoot off the bench, with bipod for front support, and a separate rear bag. Each match consists of 5 stages of 10 shots each, for a total of 50 rounds.
Long Gong matches are held each month on the 3rd Sunday, on the high power range. See the Club calendar for times. Pre-register at Practiscore.com (search Payson, Long Gong) $5 CASH per shooter - members and non-members alike.
